Kettu recycling mobile game as part of environmental education
Kuopio developed the Kettu (fox) recycling mobile game as a tool for schools to use as part of environmental education, especially in the themes of sustainable consumption and sorting. The game is used to get people to think about their own consumption choices and to provide diverse information on sustainable consumption solutions.

The Kettu recycling game produced in the project can be downloaded from app stores.

Testing the game in interaction with students is a good idea. The students who participated in the test sessions saw how the game had developed on the basis of their ideas and feedback, which will motivate them to provide feedback.

It is important for teaching that the game has different levels and levels of difficulty to suit different age groups and competence levels
Effects

The game can be introduced nationally in environmental education as long as regional differences in waste management are taken into account.
